DBH first major story taking place before God Mission the Evil Dragon/Jaakuryu Mission features the dangerous Black Smoke Dragon who was the main villain before the debut of the Demons/Dark Empire. These mission/arcs are what if type of stories only in DBH featuring characters from Z and GT. The Black Smoke Dragon appears once again causing trouble to Goku and the others just like in the GT anime he scattered the Dragon Balls all over the earth as the Shadow Dragons attack.

In the arcade continuity Beat, Note and the debuting Xeno Trunks goes around assisting the Z fighters from the GT timeline in order to stop the Black Smoke Dragons plans. They encounter each Shadow Dragon in each mission and in some of these missions we see the debuts of GT SS Adult Gotenks, SS3 Vegito, SS2 Gogeta, Kings Of Destruction and SS4 Broly. The Black Smoke Dragon shows how dangerous and powerful he can be as during the missions he also effects and watches over a Buu arc timeline specifically during the battles with Kid Buu and during the encounter with Babidi.

Because of anomaly's caused by the Black Smoke Dragon the events change as we see in the battle against Kid Buu the South Kai is present with Goku and Vegeta. Also during the Babidi encounter it's Super Buu instead of Fat Buu who is with Babidi and the King of Destructions arrive to attack Beat, Note and Vegito. Also because of the anomaly's the past enemies in these missions have become more powerful than before. One of the big reveals is SS4 Broly who the Black Smoke Dragon summons and powers him up using his magic wish abilities and Broly becomes a SS4.

SS4 Broly shows great power overwhelming SS4 Goku, SS4 Vegeta, SS3 Beat and SS3 Note as Super Pikkon shows up and helps against the powerful saiyan. Later in the climax of the Evil Dragon Mission the Black Smoke Dragon and all the Shadow Dragons clash against SS4 Goku, SS4 Vegeta, SS3 Adult Gotenks and in the trailer continuity as well as Beat and Note with the others. In the end Goku and Vegeta fuse into SS4 Gogeta and together with the others they defeat all of the Evil Dragons once and for all. Evil Dragon/Jaakuryu Mission comes to an end.

(Evil Dragon Mission Synopsis)
The Dragon Balls have cracked due to a battle with a new and powerful enemy. The evil "Black Smoke Dragon" was summoned from the cracks. The "Black Smoke Dragon" splits into seven Evil Shadow Dragons, which scattered around the world and began to destroy with their negative energy. Goku and his friends set off on an adventure around the world to defeat the Evil Dragons, restore peace to the world, and restore the Dragon Balls...!
