Peavey into Peavey into Peavey into Peavey...

In this video, I'm demonstrating the sound and features of a 1983 Peavey T-40 bass along with an entire Peavey signal chain.

The bass is running in to the Big Game F-800B preamp/overdrive pedal (based on the desirable preamp & overdrive circuit of a Peavey Super Festival F-800B amplifier) into a Peavey Super Festival 800 Booster Amplifier into a Peavey 3620 cabinet.

Really, the T-40 is a truly underrated bass. It can sound vaguely like other basses if that's what you're looking for, but at the end of the day, it's got it's own thing going on and it's really just better to appreciate it for what it is instead of what you want it to be.
