Most of the farmers asked about the right time and type of potash fertilizer application for wheat crop which is not so difficult to understand. Just remember one thing that you can use potash in wheat at any time upto 100 days crop but application before 50 days of crop growth helps in increasing number of productive tillers in wheat crop which is the basic component of getting higher yield.
Simple remember that 50% potash should be applied before 50 days of crop growth and remaining should be applied before 100 days of crop growth. After 100 days foliar application gives better results than basal application.
