Science is all about shared knowledge and connections for the greater good. Today’s Eye of the Storm brings together science museums in hurricane-prone regions. Hear the voices of children of New Orleans who were impacted by Hurricane Katrina and learn from the Science Museum of Virginia’s chief scientist. Then, experience how the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) prepares the state for hurricane season.

Hurricane season officially begins on June 1 and runs through November 30, peaking in late August through October. The Eye of the Storm virtual series, which is FREE to all viewers, provides valuable information and tips on how to safely prepare for hurricane season.
