Stories of Bukharian Jewish Culture, Life in the USSR & the Relationship Between Muslims & Jews

QUEENS, NEW YORK, USA -
While I was doing a little Bukharian food tour in Queens, I met Mr. Aron Aronov who is the Executive Director of the Bukharian Jewish Heritage Museum.

Aron has spent multiple decades traveling between the US and Uzbekistan to collect traces from the Bukharian Jewish past. At 86 years old, he still spends every day taking care of the museum and sharing his culture with other people.

It's an incredible room full of items, garments, books, and old photos from Central Asia which are now used to showcase Bukharian Jewish Heritage in Queens, New York.
