MARLENE | The trajectory of chef Marlene Vieira

“Marlene” is where chef Marlene Vieira presents to the public not only her vision over the Portuguese cuisine or the Portuguese product, it’s all about the progression of influences through her trajectory. Differing from many chefs, her story didn’t start at home, inspired by home cooking. It starts from the first moment she stepped inside of a restaurant, leaded by a young woman, where the French cuisine, and the brigade system, provoked an instant passion on the 12 year old girl. The restaurant “Marlene” is a reflection of the chef and the path she has built on this 30 years of love and dedication to cooking.

In this short film, presented at "Madrid Fusión 2023", we enter the personal thoughts, feelings and life of a chef who represents not only the Portuguese food, but culture and people.
