The classic GE 7-2945A is an easy to find portable radio in the used marketplace. It represents a solid investment, and will provide the operator years of service. Having a built in AC cord gives you the option to make this a shop or kitchen radio as well. It has been almost five years since this has been on the shelf. During this Daytime AM band scan I find that this radio is still capable, and sounds wonderful with it's Four Inch Speaker.
