Samsung Bricking Galaxy Note 7 Phones - ON PURPOSE !

The Galaxy Note 7 will soon be getting an update which will BRICK it.

Samsung has decided to take a drastic measure for the remaining Galaxy Note 7 phones that haven't been returned in the recall. They will be pushing out an update this month that will not only brick the phone and make it useless, but also prevent it from charging at all. This is because of the large number of Galaxy Note devices that had caught fire unexpectedly. Despite the recall, many people have not returned it yet. I don't blame them for this, and I think it's good they are airing on the side of caution, though maybe Samsung could have done something a bit less extreme.
