🌍 Join us in our latest vlog as we delve into the vibrant city of Kashgar on days 9, 10 and 11 of our Silk Road journey.

📅 Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, from July to August 2021, we continued our incredible expedition from Chengdu to Kashgar. This segment showcases Kashgar's rich cultural heritage and bustling energy.

🍲 We were treated to an amazing array of local dishes in Kashgar, from sizzling kebabs to savoury hand-pulled noodles, each bursting with flavours that echo the region's historic spice routes. It was a culinary adventure that truly captured the essence of this historic trading hub.

🛍️ At the Grand Bazaar, we marvelled at intricate handwoven carpets amidst a kaleidoscope of colour and craftsmanship. The market, alive with activity, offered us a glimpse into the skilled artistry passed down through generations.

✂️ A special highlight was celebrating James's 31st birthday in true local style—with a traditional haircut and beard trim at a bustling Kashgar barbershop. This personal touch added a festive joy to our visit, blending cultural immersion with celebration.
