Situational Awareness - Transitional Spaces

You might save a few seconds by busting out your cell phone and pulling up your shopping list while you're walking to the store, but is it worth it? Being situationally aware in those transitional spaces is possibly the most important time to do so. Yeah crimes happen inside of these 'safe spaces' such as your house, the store, church, a restaurant, etc - but they happen way more often when you're on the way there.

Transitional spaces (such as parking lots) are opportune places for criminals to take advantage of unsuspecting victims. By simply being aware of your surroundings, you are lessening the chance that you'll ever even have to draw a gun in the first place. Watch the whole video to find out why.
