The film is about the Tories draconian police crime sentencing and courts bill and the coalition of protesters trying to stop it.

The Bill aims to increase police powers massively, criminalising protests and targeting those already most vulnerable to state violence. It will outlaw any protest deemed by the home office to cause ‘disruption’, massively increase the power of Stop and Search, and criminalise the Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities.

I have been working on this film for about a month and am pretty happy with the result. I am still learning! The footage is mostly from stuff I shot during the Killthebill_official protest outside parliament on the 8th December and speeches from the launch of XR Unify

As the Bill nears its final reading in the House of Lords, many organisations and movements have come together and are calling for mass protests in cities around the UK on Saturday (15th Jan) – the London march will start at Lincoln’s Inn Fields at midday.

Come and stand up against this Bill. Together we must KILL THE BILL
