Gin Stephens explains her current style of intermittent fasting, which is very flexible, but also consistent. She's described it elsewhere as "flexible OMAD" (one meal a day), meaning she has one main meal during about a 4-5 hour eating window.

In this clip from my interview with Gin Stephens on The FastingWell Podcast, Gin explains her current approach to intermittent fasting. She's very flexible, and doesn't use the same fasting schedule every day. But she's consistent enough to do some amount of fasting every day. She typically opens her eating window in the mid-afternoon, and averages about 2-6 hours of eating depending on the day. Although she doesn't use that term here, I've heard her describe this in a different interview as flexible 5-hour OMAD, which means she has one main meal each day, but may include some other snacks and things during an eating window that's about 4 or 5 hours long. Before settling on the current schedule, Gin had tried various other fasting regiments including a brief foray into alternate-day fasting (ADF) back in 2016 or so.
