*BEFORE YOU DO THIS!!*

1) Make sure ALL apps are updated and that you backed-up on iCloud.
-if your Apple device isn't updated to the new OS, then I recommend doing this and then backing up everything on your iPad/iMac/iPhone etc...
-if you have an updated OS Apple device and it didn't back up for some apparent reason.

WHAT I DID:

-look through all your apps and consider whether or not you want them anymore.
After that make a list of what you would want to delete and what you'd want to reinstall.
-before deleting EVERYTHING, try deleting some and see if you can back-up. (no email is required)
-if it still won't let you for some reason, then delete EVERYTHING.

2) delete EVERYTHING you want now.
3) now when you go to install an app, it should ask for your new Apple ID.
*it wouldn't let me update because of my old email*

HOW TO DO IT:

Step 1)
PC: Open iTunes, go to the homepage and click the upper right hand corner where your current email is. Then click the down arrow and click sign out.

Apple Devices:
Go to Apple Store or iTunes Store, scroll to the bottom, hit your current email, then click sign out.

Step 2)
If not already, go to the App Store and get a FREE app. Yes, a FREE app! This is how it will work! Now that you have installed the FREE app it will ask you for two things: Sign In with Current ID OR Create New Account.
•CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT!!!!

Step 3)
It will ask for your country or region; do that :p

Step 4)
Agree to those terms no one reads :p

Step 5)
Make a NEW email. Yes, a NEW email. This is how it will work!

Okay, did you do it?? GOOD!

Step 6)
Fill in all that fun information. *NOTE* it's going to ask for your new email aka Apple ID and an Apple password. Make a NEW password; DON'T used an old/current password. (I read somewhere that it wasn't good)

Step 7)
Hit next and then it should bring you to the billing info and viola! It's going to ask for a payment method... Hit NONE! Yes none! Can you believe it? It worked :D

Step 8)
After that go to your NEW email that you recently created and open up the most recent email you got, click Apple and read what it says then click the link that says "Verify this"

It will ask you to enter your new Apple ID/password.

After that you're done!!! :D

Q: What if I paid for that app? Will I be able to get it back without buying it again?
A: Personally, i'd keep that app depending on how useful it is. For example: I bought iMovie and it needs to be updated from my old email.  Obviously I can't do that, so i'm going to wait until I buy/get an ACTUAL iTunes gift card so I can REDEEM my money on THAT old Apple ID.
