I love the ProCo RAT and RAT-style distortion pedals! I like the Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive. Well, Keeley put BOTH circuits into one pedal and has created a new go-to distortion box: the Super Rodent. This pedal combines two classics that pair SO WELL together.
The RAT-style circuit is the real star of the two but once you hot swap the tone stacks you enter new worlds of possibilities. But a vintage RAT-style filter on the TS-style drive for the smoothest lead boost you'll ever have! Or, bump up the mid presence of the RAT to cut through a wall of distortion. The Super Rodent may just be the new King of the RATs!
