Winterhike in Switzerland: Sunnebüel (Kandersteg) to Gemmipass

Hiking in the winter in Switzerland opens up entire new possibilities. On this beautiful hike from Sunnebüel, near Kandersteg, we make our way to the Gemmipass. The hike is about 8.5km per direction and climbs for 560 meters. Dragging sleds behind us, we can enjoy a fun and relaxed way back to the start of the tour.

On the way, the alpine panorama is incredible. The views from the top of Gemmipass down towards Leukerbad and the surrounding mountains is one of the most scenic views we have ever enjoyed in Switzerland.
