Five suspects have been arrested in the targeted slaying of a Woodland Hills doctor including his ex-wife, police announced Thursday.

On Aug. 23, while walking to his car, Hamid Mirshojae, 61, was shot and killed in the parking lot outside of his clinic at the Warner Plaza Medical Center located at Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Oxnard Street at around 5:30 p.m.

He was killed in an “ambush-style attack” before the gunman fled the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
