American singer, dancer, actor, author, and television host, Lance Bass made a whole bunch of teenaged hearts throb during the late 90s and early 2000s as one-part of the extremely popular boy band, N’SYNC. But did you know that if it wasn’t for the other members of the group, Lance might not be as famous as he is right now? When N’SYNC was offered its first recording contract, it was contingent on the others cutting Lance from the group because back then his dance skills weren’t up to snuff! But the group refused to do the deal and Lance worked his behind off to improve his groove. I think you know what happened next. Over a decade later, Lance would begin dating painter and actor Michael Turchin. The two got engaged in September of 2013 and were married in December of 2014 in a ceremony that was broadcast on E! in which the two became the first same-sex couple to exchange vows on cable television. Only a few months prior, the happy couple had bought a house together in the city of Los Angeles and Lance would dedicate himself just as hard to improving their new family home as he once did his dance-steps with a taste for both old and new.
