RV AC Blower Fan Replacement - Dometic Blizzard NXT | Full Time RV Repairs

Описание к видео RV AC Blower Fan Replacement - Dometic Blizzard NXT | Full Time RV Repairs

Another quick fix video. While staying in North West Washington, our bedroom AC (Dometic Blizzard NXT) progressively started making more and more of a wobbly vibrating noise. This was clearly affecting the performance and who knew how long it might be until it caused a major issue. So we decided to see if I could order a replacement and install it myself.

We found labels with parter and manufacturer numbers on the inside of the AC unit when previously cleaning it. I had photos of those, so referencing them, we searched the internet and found a replacement (Part number 3316314.000). We also called Dometic, but found out that they were going to charge another $100+ to send us the same thing. Luckily we found Panther RV Products and were able to get it shipped to us nice and quick. Just check the part numbers from the manufacturer carefully and you should be able to find your replacement.

Installation was pretty easy. CUT THE POWER FIRST - You don't want to be messing around up there and have someone accidentally turn on the fan or risk electric shocks! Once that's done, opening everything up and replacing it is pretty quick and easy. It's mostly plug and play. And if you're not trying to record the whole thing, it probably can be done within 30-45mins by most people.

We'll be back with more travel adventures starting in our next video. These were just some real-time updates that I wanted to go ahead and get done now rather than waiting for them to come up in the edit queue later!
