Latvian folk song (latviešu tautasdziesma) Vilki "Cīrulīti mazputniņi"

Old traditional Latvian folk song about going off to war. It has a really archaic plot where a parallel is drawn between a young man and a skylark. The song is rhythmic and soothing, meant to aid in coming to terms with one's faith.

Strict lords will ride past tomorrow, trampling your nest
