Hot Dogs are perhaps the most famous Street Meat in the world. Cities with a strong work enviroment need functional food for theie fast paced evniroment. Why not a quick dog on your lunch break? Toronto just like many cities in North America have a great variety of hot dogs to eat. But which is the best?

Chung Chun Rice Dogs

1. Chung Chun Rice Dogs in Koreatown might not be your traditional style dog. But they have some unique takes on our tubular favourite. They make a great mozzarella cheese dog among many others that are encased in it's fermented rice dough, that is deep fried, and sauced up just how you like it.

2. Fancy Franks is a chain throughout Toronto, don't let that fool you on quality, they do make a great dog. With a variety of different ones you can get at a discount at $5 throughout the week.

3. Grandma Loves You will make you love Hotdogs all over again. Homestyle cooked dogs, and sandwiches being prepared all day. But the main attraction is their weiners. They have specialty ones as a representation of countries throughout the world.

4. Wvrst is nowhere near the worst when it comes to a nice sausage or dog. These Franks are made in a traditional German style, inspired by the original Frankfurters in Germany. Next time you're on King Street West and don't want to eat street meat, and want to elevate your comfort food, then look no further.

5. Completo is an east end favourite for not only tacos, and burgers, but also Hotdogs. These dogs have a Mexican twist in it's prep. If you are a fan of Guacamole. Then this may be your dog.
