In this video I wanted to take you all to a part of China that you won't often see and one particular place that I thought would be interesting was Anshan City, Liaoning Province located in the far northeast of China (not far from North Korea).
Anshan is considered the 'Steel City' of northeastern China, with Ansteel Group being headquartered there.
In this video I'll show you the common characteristics of a northeastern Chinese city - rough around the edges, both in terms of the city itself and the populace, filled with blue collar workers who grind through the week for a very modest income. The people are very down to earth and I always enjoy interacting with them. I'll also show you the aspects of this city which are unique...
Some of unique places in Anshan include leftover architecture from Imperial Japan, 219 Park, Scat Chicken and much, much more!
