In a series of videos, I will present you with useful, free programs (freeware and open source) that I use, which can help you in your daily work with your computer - cleaning, graphics, archiving, photo processing, texts and much more.

In this video we will look at LibreOffice – a very powerful, useful, and full‑featured office suite, which contains six programs and allows us to work with:

1. Writer: a word processor – like Microsoft Word
2. Calc: for spreadsheets – like Microsoft Excel
3. Impress: for creating presentations – like PowerPoint
4. Base: for managing databases – like Microsoft Access
5. Draw: for vector graphics, sketches, and diagrams
6. Math: an editor for mathematical formulas

As someone who has worked with many programs, I can say that this office suite does a great job and is very useful!

LibreOffice is free and open‑source software, originally based on OpenOffice, and is the most actively developed successor of OpenOffice.org.
In recent years, LibreOffice has been developed by The Document Foundation – an international community of volunteers: developers, programmers, translators, testers, and enthusiasts. You can download it from the official website:
