LOURMARIN - Most Beautiful Villages in France 4k

Les Plus Beaux Villages de France has once again nailed it by including the village of Lourmarin on their list of the most beautiful villages in France.

It's a one two punch scenario at Lourmarin.

The jab is set up by the castle that over looks the village from a short distance away. Surrounded by donkeys, there is a Shrek like vibe to the estate.

The hook is a village that is circular in function and decorated beautifully with traditional Provencal decoration.

It sits in the middle of Ménerbes and Ansouis, only 25 minutes via super scenic back road to Ménerbes and only 10 minutes to Ansouis.

Part of the trio of villages that are easily do-able in half a day, it's a great spot to have a drink or stay for lunch. It's a perfect place to visit when on holidays in France up in the Vaucluse and has its charm year round.

Parking is free on the edge of town and there is a park that you can let your kids and/or dogs play in just beside. A super easy day trip that is a must do when visiting the Vaucluse and Provence in France.
