China Airlines Flight 140 crashed in Nagoya Airport

April 26th, 1994. China Airlines flight 140 was flight from Chiang Kai-Shek (Taoyuan) Airport, Taipei, Taiwan to Nagoya Airport, Japan. The plane is an Airbus A300. Registrated B-1816. Operated by China Airlines in February 1991. The Captain was 42 years old Wang Lo-Chi. Captain Wang had a respectable 8,340 hours of experience, including 1,350 on the A300. He has also flown Boeing 747, but now he has joined the Airbus A300. The First Officer is 26 years old Chuang Meng-jung. He has total flight time was about 1,600 hours, including about 1,000 on the A300. On board, with 256 passenger, 13 flight attendants and 2 pilots in the cockpit. Most of the Japanese passengers were on their way home from packages tour in Taiwan.
