WWE NXT Bayley, Izzy, Sasha Banks before, after NXT TakeOver: Respect Oct. 2015

Izzy Silagyi and her parents, Jenny and Cody, are huge fans of WWE NXT's Bayley. WWE.com even did a story about Izzy, 8, of Tampa as Bayley surprised her by taking her on tour at the WWE Performance Center and then later into the ring during an NXT taping at Full Sail Live at Full Sail University in Winter Park, near Orlando. Before NXT TakeOver: Respect with Bayley and Sasha Banks main eventing in a 30-minute Iron Man match, Izzy and her parents answered some questions. Who knew that during the epic, history making, statement making match, Izzy would be involved in it thanks to the heelish Banks. After their grueling 30-minute Iron Man match in the main event of NXT TakeOver: Respect, NXT women's champ Bayley and former champ The Boss Sasha Banks signed autographs, posed for photos and spoke with fans outside Full Sail Live at Full Sail University in Winter Park, neat Orlando. That's also where Banks made-up with Bayley's top fan, Izzy. During the crowd pleasing, captivating match, Banks trash talked about Bayley to Izzy (seated front row) and even took Izzy's silver bow off her head, wore it in the ring, mocking her and Bayley, before fiercely throwing it back at Izzy's family. Izzy is just 8-years-old, and the tears rained. Instant heat. After the match and celebration, which saw the locker room give both wrestlers a standing ovation from the stage in a great show of respect, Banks gave Izzy her flowers, and they fist bumped. Outside Full Sail, Banks talked to Izzy and her dad, Cody. I asked her dad about it all. He was super excited as a long-time wrestling fan that Banks made Izzy part of this epic match, but as a father seeing his daughter cry, it was heartbreaking. Bayley's dad, who was seated next to Izzy and her family, actually held Izzy when she was crying, and then her parents comforted her, telling her to be strong for Bayley. Izzy was elated when Bayley won the historic match to retain the title, and Banks and Izzy made peace. All's well that ends well. Battered, bruised and tired, they made time to thank appreciative fans who waited outside for them afterward. BTW: Maybe you'll notice that Banks is wearing a Bayley 'Hugger' jersey, and Bayley is sporting a Banks jersey. The day after the big match, WWE NXT women's champ Bayley discusses the historic 30-minute Iron Man match with former champ The Boss Sasha Banks in the main event of NXT TakeOver: Respect on Wednesday, Oct. 7 live on WWE Network from Full Sail Live at Full Sail University in Winter Park, near Orlando. Bayley and Banks tore the house down, making a statement for women's wrestling and gaining the respect of the entire locker room.
