Skyrim is an aged game; it has aged well, but can use some help. Dragons in particular are somewhat small compared to other franchises, and have somewhat cartoonish proportions, with wings too small to fly between other things. They also can be underwhelming in combat once you have a bit of experience. But dragons are such a core aspect of skyrim, and the community has made great effor in improving and updating them.

Majestic dragons is a mod that will make the dragons in your game much larger and will give them much better and realistic proportions while retaining their ability to aim correctly, preserving the quality of the animations, and their pathfinding and their ability to fly and land correctly.

In this video I also use many other mods; the base modlist is eldergream and the dragon mods showcased are : deadly dragons (insane difficulty, with all options), dragon combat overhaul, diverse dragons collection, and game of thrones house of the dragon-diverse dragons.
