Scanning Positions for RAYUS’s Open Upright MRI

Описание к видео Scanning Positions for RAYUS’s Open Upright MRI

The Open Upright MRI is a popular scanning option for claustrophobics who have been unable to finish a scan in a traditional MR machine. The Open Upright is unique because you aren’t lying on a table, but instead are positioned between two magnets. In many Open Upright scans you can even watch TV. You can see for yourself what the machine looks like and the various ways you could be situated during your scan. You’ll see examples of an:
-MRI of the Brain (in this scan a coil is placed over your head)
-MRI of the Shoulder (in this scan you are lying on side of interest but can turn you head to look out and watch TV)
-MRI of the Spine (in this scan you’ll have images taken in neutral, flexion and extension)
