A 900-stall capacity market in Donholm Nairobi is gathering dust as traders sell their wares in the open. The Mukuru Reli market that is under the Kenya Railway was commissioned and allocated to traders from Kibera and Mukuru slums who were selling their goods along the railway line in 2018.
As Emily Chebet reports, poor management of the market has pushed the traders to look for alternative selling points claiming customers are not accessible.
