Buses & Trains on Merseyside | June 2024

A look at the bus and train scene on Merseyside with Prominent locations including Liverpool, St Helens and Bootle. Chasing the older Class 507 stock was a lot harder but there were four units found working in pairs on the Hunts Cross to Southport line on this occasion. The Hydrogen buses are also still quite hard to find as the only appear on the 10 and 10A between Liverpool and St Helens in the morning and early afternoon duties being pulled from service by early afternoon.

The naming of The Queen Anne is shown here during a naming ceremony with Cunard who have long maritime associations with Liverpool.
