So, you’re having a bit of trouble beating the grass gym in Artazon, and I’m here to help. First off, since this is a grass gym, you are going to want to have the right pokemon in your party to take it on. If you chose Fuecoco as your starter, you are already on the right track since grass is weak to fire. Grass type Pokemon are also weak to Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug, so even if you don’t have Fuecoco or any other fire type Pokemon that is OK. You could easily take on this gym with a Flamigo or Paldean Wooper; or you could catch a Growlith before taking on the grass gym as they are everywhere outside of Artazon. Just make sure you are not bringing any Pokemon with you that are weak to grass like Water, Ground, or Rock types. Sorry Quaxly people. Once you have your Pokemon selected to take on the gym you are going to want to make sure they are at high enough level. Brassius has three pokemon at levels 16 and 17, and you should try to have a few super effective mons around the same level. Before my fight with Brassius I had a level 17 Charcadet for my Fire type coverage, and a level 17 Wooper for my Poison type coverage.

Now that you have the correct Pokemon, you’re ready to take on the Gym Test. Artazon’s Gym Test is pretty simple. All you have to do is run around town finding stray Sunflora, and fighting a couple of them. If you are having trouble finding Sunflora, definitely check out the Maze on the north side of town. I was able to find 4 from the maze, and the rest were pretty simple to find. If you are still having difficulty finding Sunflora you can head back to the fence where the gym test started and there should be a couple of them just waiting for you. So all in all it’s a pretty simple Gym Test.

Now the fight with Brassius it is pretty straight forward if you have two or there good leveled mons that are super effective against grass. When I took him on my Charcadet was easily able to take out his Petlil and Smolive, and my Wooper came in to finish up the Sudowoodo.
