Ahojte! V tomto videu vám ukážem moju prácu pri záchrane a obnove akvária.
Oslovil ma pán so žiadosťou o pomoc. Keď som akvárium videl, jeho stav bol žalostný – rastliny zničené riasou, zelený zákal a sklo úplne zarastené, cez ktoré nebolo nič vidieť. Neváhal som a pustil som sa do práce.
Vymenil som približne 70 % vody a vytrhal všetky poškodené rastliny. Terén som jemne upravil a začal tvoriť nový hardscape s dvoma hlavnými modulmi, medzi ktorými vznikla cesta zvýraznená hnedým štrkom. Pre korene som použil rastliny Anubias barteri, Bucephalandra Wavy Green, Microsorum pteropus a Hemianthus callitrichoides “Cuba”. Pred cestou som zasadill Eleocharis parvula mini, do stredu Cryptocoryne viridifolia a do pozadia kombináciu Bacopa monnieri, Valisneria spiralis, Hygrophila corymbosa a Alternanthera reineckii.
Pri stavbe som mal menší problém s vyplávajúcim koreňom, ktorý som dočasne zaťažil kameňom – o pár týždňov bude držať stabilne. Vymenil som aj filter za výkonnejší a nastavil správne svetlo, CO₂ a dávkovanie hnojív od Aquagrower, ktoré využívam v automatickom režime.
Výsledok? Akvárium je pripravené rásť a po pár mesiacoch budú rastliny úplne zapĺňať priestor. Čo hovoríte na túto premenenú nádrž? Dajte vedieť do komentára!
Hi everyone! In this video, I’ll show you my work restoring and rescuing an aquarium.
A gentleman asked me for help. When I saw the aquarium, its condition was really bad – the plants were destroyed by algae, there was a green film on the water, and the glass was completely covered, making it impossible to see inside. I didn’t hesitate and got to work.
I replaced about 70% of the water and removed all the damaged plants. I gently adjusted the substrate and started creating a new hardscape with two main modules, leaving a path in between highlighted with brown gravel. For the roots, I used Anubias barteri, Bucephalandra Wavy Green, Microsorum pteropus, and Hemianthus callitrichoides “Cuba”. In front of the path I planted Eleocharis parvula mini, in the center Cryptocoryne viridifolia, and for the background I used a mix of Bacopa monnieri, Valisneria spiralis, Hygrophila corymbosa, and Alternanthera reineckii.
During the setup, a root floated up unexpectedly, so I temporarily weighed it down with a stone – in a few weeks it will hold in place naturally. I also replaced the filter with a stronger one and adjusted the lighting, CO₂, and dosing of Aquagrower fertilizers, which I use in automatic mode.
The result? The aquarium is ready to grow, and in a few months the plants will completely fill the space. What do you think of this transformed tank? Let me know in the comments!
