India, on the other hand, is doing much despite the stresses of Covid. But you might be surprised to know that there was a time when Pakistan had a better economy than India, with Pakistan’s GDP per capita significantly higher than India in the early 1980s. Today, however, India has far outpaced Pakistan’s growth. How has that happened? As we’ll see in this video, it’s a fascinating assortment of reasons, all of which we have discussed in detail.
