The US regulators just announced that they are looking into 1.7 million 2018 to 2022 Honda, CRV and HRV models. The rear differential can leak causing it to seize up and break the driveshaft. Which could definitely result in accidents. There’s already been a couple cases of this and they are looking into if they need to issue a recall. Definitely need to pay attention to this going forward to see if it does in fact turn into a recall.
