Cincinnati Scale Modelers ModelNati Contest 2023 -- Planes, Ships, Tanks Slide Show.

Hosted by the Tri-State Warbird Museum, Clermont County Airport in Batavia Ohio, the Cincinnati Scale Modelers IPMS chapter held their ModelNati Contest and swap meet October 21, 2023. Here are random still captures from video of various planes, ships and tanks entered in the contest. The talent and details are astonishing. An aircraft carrier had near microscopic yet fully posed and painted deck crews. You have to look closely to find them. Ships have all the spiderwebs of rigging, aircraft engines have all the hoses and wiring. Cockpits have every item included. Tanks look as real as the full sized examples we see in photos. Some are in amazing detail and weathering yet those in 1/72 scale, they would fit in the palm of your hands. The day ended with the grand finale of our B-25J Yankee Doodle launching for a previously planned flight and did a nice pass over the field. Weather cleared out just in time.
