|Cinnamon Tea Cake|
|Ingredients|
2 Large Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
180 ml Full Fat Milk
1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
210 grams All Purpose Flour
2 and 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
115 grams Butter (room temperature)
150 grams white sugar (granulated or caster)
|For Topping|
1 Tbsp Melted Butter
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
1 Tbsp Granulated Or Caster White Sugar
|Method|
1. Pre-heat oven to 180C line a round cake pan with baking paper.
2. In a bowl, mix together all purpose flour, baking powder and cinnamon powder, and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract with the help of mixer until pale and creamy.
4. Mix the prepare batter into the flour mixture, along with the milk, mix until cake batter is smooth and creamy.
5. Pour cake batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for 35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
6. While the cake is still warm, generously brush with cinnamon sugar mixture. Enjoy a slice while the cake is warm. Enjoy! :)
