Curious seals from above in Chatham, Massachusetts, captured with a DJI Mavic 3 Classic near Chatham Lighthouse on Cape Cod.
I spotted a group of seals by the sandbars, and ended up hovering and filming until my batteries ran down.

In 2023, I launched near Chatham Lighthouse and unexpectedly found seals resting and swimming near the sandbars. They noticed the drone, looked up, and seemed curious and playful. Watching that interaction from the sky felt like a rare, peaceful connection with nature.
