In today's video, I take the Rev Phantom X on an exclusive first ride, going through its features, feel, and touching a bit on performance. The Phantom X is the first production electric skateboard to use a 21s battery! This enormous 21s6p of Samsung 50s cells brings a huge amount of performance to the table as well as tons of range! The total wH of the pack comes out to around 2600! That's nearly double what most other boards offer!

The ESC in the Phantom X is a VESC based controller, bringing smooth power, great brakes, and opportunities for customization, should you so desire. Its paired with a set of Reacher motors, which are also a first for a Chinese production skateboard, and attached to a set of steel on steel helical 4GS! These drives are some of the best sounding ones I've ever heard, very pleasing and raw. Due to the high voltage, the drives offer a pretty high gear ratio that provides a lot of torque, even though there's big wheels on it!

The SAT (Swing Arm Truck) system on the Phantom X is one of the most unique things I've seen in truck design and offers high maneuverability and hopefully (havent tested it yet) higher speed stability.

To control it, the Phantom X also uses an industry first; the Exway Rexus remote, paired up with a VESC controller receiver! This is an awesome innovation that many people in the DIY community are going to love. The Rexus remote offers a ton of great info and settings that make it a pleasure to use.
