The Simpsons: Major Revelations At Comic Con 2016; Show Gears Up For 600th Episode Celebration Famous animated sitcom The Simpsons is gearing up for its 600th episode and is all set to bring back a beloved character. For celebrating show’s mind-boggling iconic milestone, the announcement was done by Executive Producer Al Jean and show creator Matt Groening at the San Diego Comic Con lately. They revealed the list of artists reprising their voice casts for upcoming season and they will be roping in back Homer’s sworn enemy.According to Joe, the 600th episode of The Simpsons is slated to air on Oct. 16, which will be based on Halloween-themed Treehouse of Horror 27. The first half will feature Hunger Games parody and fans may get to see Maggie weirdly all covered up in guns.It was further revealed that Sarah Silverman, Drew Carey and Kelsey Grammer will be seen as the guest stars to mark the incredible milestone of the series.Other stars ready to make a comeback on the series include Allison Janney, Matt Leinart, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Patton Oswalt and world-chess champion Magnus Carlsen.Other important highlights given by the panel include a special episode that will feature The Simpsons going to Boston through a travel show. Another detail teased by show creator Matt Groening is a possible crossover Family Guy, American Dad or Futurama.There will be an episode featuring a scoop on Pokemon Go that tops the list of the hottest trending topics these days.
