张鹏(朋朋哥哥),青少年阅读推广人、耳朵里的博物馆创始人,全国青联委员、北京青联常委。自2003年起在国家博物馆等场馆为青少年义务讲解,同时走进百余所全国中小学校开展巡回公益讲座,参与多档青少年博物馆节目的策划和录制,著有《宫城:写给孩子的紫禁城》、《朋朋哥哥讲故宫》、《博物馆里的中国》、《倾听博物馆:朋朋的时光笔记》等图书,译有《博物馆奇妙夜》等绘本,先后获得第25届北京五四青年奖章、第9届讲好中国文物故事杰出传播者、第5届书香中国十大金牌阅读推广人、全国向上向善好青年等荣誉。

所以,无论过去还是未来,我们都需要一个看见思想与情感的任意门。现在,由庄严厚重的文物到幽默风趣的解说,朋朋哥哥一直在寻找一种方法来破壁人们彳亍走向大历史的心门。无论解说的对象是青少年还是年长者,他都努力在让人们认识到,放弃邂逅宏大历史的损失,除了没有克服的心理畏惧,还有未曾领略的过去精彩岁月的遗憾。

Zhang Peng is a youth reading promoter, founder of the “Museum in the Ear” project in collaboration with the National Museum of China, member of the National Youth Federation, and member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Youth Federation. Since 2003, he has volunteered to be a museum guide for young children in the National Museum of China. He has also been invited to more than 100 primary and secondary schools nationwide to give public lectures, and participated in the planning and recording of several programs for youth museums. He is the author of Palace City: the Forbidden City for Children, Brother Peng Peng talks about the Forbidden City, China in the Museum, Listening to the Museum: Peng Peng's Time Notes. He has translated picture books such as The Wonderful Night in the Museum. He has received accolades including the 25th Beijing May 4th Youth Medal, the 9th Outstanding Communicator of Telling Good Stories about Chinese Cultural Relics, the 5th of the top ten reading promoters of the beauty of books in China, and the Virtuous and Positive Chinese Youth award.

From cultural relics to historical interpretation, Zhang Peng has been looking for a way to open this door for others to share the garden of history with him. Let us not only look forward to the future, but to learn about the past that shaped us. Let us welcome Zhang Peng with open hands – and an open mind.
