Welcome to Flynn: Son of Crimson. A bright and colourful game telling a simple story of hope and determination. We must venture across the land to restore the stolen power of our beloved demi-god dog. Okay it's not as simple as I first thought but the gameplay is everything you'd expect from your traditional platformer. Visit various stages with multiple exists, each the end of each stage and move across the map onto dangers new.

To bump up the complexity we've got our own skill tree that lets us convert experience into boons, perks and even unlocking brand new abilities. A variety of weapons and magic helps to keep combat fresh, and the overall feel of the game makes you nostalgic for games of old.

It's a charming and restrained experience, with a wide selection of stages, optional challenges and secrets to be unearthed. But hey, words can only explain things so far, why not take a watch and see what Flynn: Son of Crimson is really like!?
