Queen Nefertiti of Egypt

Nefertiti was Queens at the height of the Ancient Egypt Empire’s wealth and power. She and her husband began a religious revolution and built a new capital city. And Nefertiti rose to the level of co-Pharaoh, one of the few female rulers in the empire’s history. She was also the step mother and mother in law of King Tutankhamun. But much about her life remains shrouded in mystery. Her most famous image, this pristinely preserved bust is a tantalizing glimpse at the life of one of the ancient world’s great Queens.
