The Twelve Pointed Stag of The Dalmore is known around the world as the harbinger of a great dram of whisky. We’ve travelled to the northeast coast of Scotland to Alness on the shores of the Cromarty Firth to find the place where it all begins - the distillation of the spirit of Dalmore, and the warehouses where it merges with selected casks.

This is part 2 of 2, in which Gregg Glass of Whyte & Mackay takes us into the cool and dim sanctuary of Dalmore’s warehouse #2, a place where only the finest whisky casks are allowed. This is the chance to learn about the Dalmore’s long standing relationship with Spain’s foremost sherry Bodega, and the criteria of how to make a good cask.
