We boarded Pirates of the Caribbean, claimed temporary pirate status, sang like we’d rehearsed, and waved at every animatronic as if we were old friends. Somewhere between the cannon fire and the final drop, we decided this wasn’t a ride—it was a recruitment opportunity.

No treasure was harmed. No rules were technically broken. But the pirates definitely have questions, and we’re pretty sure the boat has never had this much confidence.
