This morning started at 4:30 a.m slow and intentional. I woke up early to read my Bible, spend a quiet time with God, and write in my five minute journal. After that, I did a 30 minute workout and followed it with a long, steamy, relaxing shower. I used a shower steamer, dried off with a warm towel from my towel warmer, and took my time with skincare, body care, and makeup … all while sipping hot tea to really slow down and breathe.

I take self care very seriously. I like to have everything done and organized, but I also believe that taking care of myself is just as important. When I pour into myself first, I show up calmer, more present, and more focused for everything else.

Afterward, I went to the kitchen where my husband was already making breakfast. We sat down and ate together as a family before I dropped my daughter off at school. I then had a peaceful little Friday moment , got my nails done at 8 am and headed to work by 9:30. A calm, grounded start before the workday 🤍
