A Netflix series "Yeh Kali Kali Aankhein" in its very first episode is nothing but horror. The series kick starts with a dramatic scene which gives a grand platform. For some reason I was reminded of Movie Haider. Story begins with a young boy who is blessed to know the right or wrong from the very beginning but this world isn’t a lucky place and there is a total mismatch of children & Parents. Cruelty at its best and the background score is sad instead of being suspenseful.
When your eyes will start drifting away to find sense in very first episode, the entry of Saurabh Shukla will come as a breather and assurance that this will all make sense. The creator & director is none other than Sidharth Sengupta, maker of Balika Vadhu. Tahir Raj Bhasin & Shweta Tripathi for their respective roles are really a good choice. Anchal Singh is fresh as a sunshine ☀️ and yes this is a multi-starrer series so keep watching as it will keep unfolding.
The question which came in my mind is “why should we visualise something so heinous ? Are we trying to tell a tale that something happened or something still happens behind the bushes ? I urge to all, aged between 13-18 that this is not something we are preaching. This is fictional and just stay away. I know it says 16+. For the rest of people I would leave up on their maturity to only view as entertainment. All in all, BOAE says if you are up for some magnificent acting by all veterans then you must not miss it. Brijendra Kala, a big round of applause for you. Well begun is half done. This series is definitely going to get best critics’ award.
