This remarkable performance occurred on May 24, 2023, at Stanford University's Bing Concert Hall and was made possible through the generous funding from the Graduate School of Business (GSB). The event drew an overwhelming response, with RSVPs reaching venue capacity, showcasing the deep appreciation and enthusiasm from our MBA classmates. It's noteworthy that at the time of this performance, Anna, Maria, and Carlo were all MBA candidates at Stanford GSB.

Artist Biographies
Carlo Di Lanno was born in Naples, Italy, and trained at La Scala Ballet School in Milan. He danced with La Scala Ballet and Staatsballett Berlin before joining San Francisco Ballet as a soloist in 2014. He was promoted to principal dancer in 2016.

Anna Filochowska, a gifted violinist, has performed with esteemed conductors like Sir Simon Rattle and Gustavo Dudamel with ensembles including the Berliner Philharmoniker. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music and has received numerous accolades from her home country of Poland, including the "Young Poland" award. She has also collaborated with GRAMMY®-winning trumpet player Chris Botti, and performed for notable figures like Sting, Chancellor Angela Merkel, and the King of Saudi Arabia.

Maria Verbaite has been playing piano since the age of 5; before choosing to end her full-time professional classical piano career aged 21, she studied classical piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London on a full merit scholarship and was once named "Swedish Young Musician of the Year" in her native country Sweden.
