Explore the Adventures of Oil City, Pennsylvania in Our Town

This 2015 WQLN PBS original documentary titled “Our Town: Stories from Oil City,” is a one and a half-hour video scrapbook of the people, places, and happenings of the Oil City, Pennsylvania.

“Our Town: Stories from Oil City” features the heritage and spirit of the community of Oil City and shares the history, little-known facts and culture of Oil City, as seen by its residents. It combines first-hand accounts with photos and video contributed by residents who tell their stories in on-camera interviews.

Topics range from the history of the Oil Region and its impact on Oil City and The Venango Museum of Art, Science & Industry, to the dynamic flavor of Oil City's community engagements, and the personal accounts of Oil City's residents.
