Solo Flight (First in the X-Air Microlight) - Student Pilot

First solo flight (in the X-Air Microlight - guess more of a check ride really) - Landing a bit fast and floaty - despite briefing myself it would be floaty one up (leant that in the CT2K solo!), also needed more right rudder.

This wasn't actually my 'first solo' that was here in the CT2K, almost a year ago:    • THIS is my SOLO video! Student Pilot....   - unfortunately in my meandering journey to my licence I have lost about 9 months overall due to various factors outside my control. The most recent setback was an 80 day delay to learning after the CT2K was damaged. Whilst it is being repaired I have had to switch to the X-air to keep flying. Hence the need for another solo flight check.

The interesting thing for me was how different it felt personally from the one in the CT2K. Almost no anxiety at all, wasn't bricking it this time - It was just a task that needed completing.

Also compare the still conditions to the wind the other day!    • Crosswind / Rotor from trees in the X...
