Modified Triton Jeep JL & Off-Road Tested in Moab | Built2Wander

Built2Wander has been hard at work modifying the Triton Jeep JL for a whole second phase of the build. Join us as we dive into the recent changes the modified Jeep JL build has undergone ahead of the 2021 off-road season that is quickly approaching. These functional changes result in a new look to the Jeep and increased performance both on and off-road.

Follow along as we take you through each one of the main areas that we brought changes to. We start with a glimpse of Hefty Fabworks’ facility in Colorado Springs, where our new front and rear bumpers are designed and manufactured.

We then move to Mod Finishes, where we have our bumpers and rock sliders powder coated to bring a new look and feel to the Triton JL. While at Mod Finishes, we take you through our new Bilstein Shocks on all four corners and discuss our future plans for new wheels and tires as well!

We even head to Moab, Utah for the first ever Moab 4x4 Expo to put the Triton JL through its paces and find out just how much better it will perform on some of the most difficult trails in the region. We quickly learn that not only does the Triton JL look better, it performs much better as well. A lower overall ride height and substantial increase in suspension up-travel account for a more comfortable ride on the street, and more stability in the rocks. We can’t wait for all of the off-road adventures 2021 has in store in our new and improved version of the Triton JL Jeep Build!
