Color grade with me! | Color grading LOG footage on Final Cut Pro

Hey kids, color grading is fun! Sometimes it can be challenging and tedious, but that end result is like watching butter play out in front of you.. smooth and delicious.

I wanted to try something a little more difficult and shot this footage on SLog2 in harsh daylight - both of which I am not too familiar with, and I am putting them together, haha! But if I can do it, you can do it!

I normally use the Sony Picture Profile 1, dialed into Cine3 and I tweak my settings in there a bit to give me a good base for my footage, but I really wanted to see the creative liberty I would get from shooting and grading Log. And boy, am I glad I did. I hope I've convinced you to try it!
